The Hottest 100 Gins of 2025, hosted by Coventry Garden in Queensland, has wrapped for another year and it delivered some truly exciting results. Voted by gin lovers from across Australia, the countdown shines a spotlight on the gins people genuinely love drinking and sharing.
This year, the results were nothing short of humbling.
Billy Stitch Distillery proudly placed seven gins in the Hottest 100, a milestone that means the world to our team. Even more exciting, Billy Stitch Tuckshop Gin secured a Top 10 spot, landing at number six. Seeing a collaboration gin reach that level is something we are incredibly proud of.
The timing of the news could not have been better. Our friends at Tuckshop in Margaret River had just wrapped up a huge day serving hundreds of Billy Stitch Gins at their incredible venue and were absolutely thrilled to hear that our shared creation had made its way into the Top 10. It was a moment of celebration all around.
For those unfamiliar with the story, Billy Stitch Tuckshop Gin was inspired by the Tuckshop Garden itself. Ingredients grown and sourced from the garden shaped the final spirit, bringing a sense of place straight into the glass. The flavour profile is distinctly native and earthy, featuring Geraldton Wax, Native Thyme and a touch of Yuzu, and it has clearly struck a chord with gin lovers around the country.
What makes this achievement even more meaningful is the calibre of distilleries represented. More than 41 Australian distilleries made the list, including well established names such as Prohibition Gin and Four Pillars. To be recognised alongside producers who have helped shape the Australian gin industry over many years is a genuine honour.
