What a night! Billy Stitch Distillery was nominated in three categories at the 2025 Rockingham & Kwinana Chamber of Commerce Business Awards , New Business of the Year, Hospitality & Tourism, and Micro Business of the Year. We’re beyond thrilled to share that our little Western Australian gin distillery took home the trophy for Micro Business of the Year 2025.

This award means the world to us. Billy Stitch started as a small idea with a love of bold flavours and local ingredients, and it’s grown into a proud Australian gin distillery that creates spirits with personality. To have that journey recognised in our own community is something really special, and it makes all the late nights, early mornings and market days worth it.

The heart of Billy Stitch is our small but mighty team. Every person brings passion, creativity and a sense of fun to what we do. Without them, and without the people who support us by choosing locally made gin, we wouldn’t be where we are today. This win is as much about the people behind the bottles as it is about the spirits themselves.

It was also inspiring to stand alongside so many other small business owners on the night. Running a distillery in WA (or any small business, really) is no easy ride, and it felt incredible to be in a room full of people who understand the grit, resilience and heart that goes into building something from scratch.

So here’s to the Billy Stitch team, to everyone who has ever poured one of our gins, and to every small business chasing their dreams. Thanks for the support guys, the love is mutual.
